The Opportunity: The Facilities Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the country club's facilities and grounds. This position involves a variety of tasks related to the upkeep of the club's physical infrastructure, contributing to the overall guest experience and member satisfaction.

Duties and Functions:

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facilities.
• Conducting regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
• Assisting with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
• Monitoring and maintaining the appearance and functionality of outdoor spaces, including landscaping, irrigation, and walkways.
• Responding to maintenance requests from staff and members and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborating with other team members to plan and execute setup for events, meetings, and special functions.
• Coordinating with external contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs and projects.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines throughout the premises.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and supplies inventory.
• Contributing to the development of preventive maintenance schedules and strategies.

Qualification Standards:

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification or related education is a plus.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot various maintenance issues.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to interact with staff, members, and vendors.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects when necessary.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• A proactive and teamwork-oriented mindset.
