Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate, experienced Center Director to lead daily operations, build strong teams, and drive enrollment growth. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality care and education, maintaining compliance, supporting staff development, and delivering an exceptional experience for families.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach teaching staff
- Foster a positive, supportive, and accountable team culture
- Conduct regular staff evaluations and professional development
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all Georgia Bright from the Start (DECAL) regulations
- Maintain licensing standards, health & safety protocols, and documentation
- Oversee daily center operations, staffing schedules, and classroom ratios
Family Engagement & Customer Experience
- Build strong relationships with families and serve as the primary point of contact
- Conduct tours and convert leads into enrollments
- Maintain high satisfaction and retention rates
Enrollment & Growth
- Partner with marketing to drive enrollment and meet FTE goals
- Follow up on leads, manage tour scheduling, and close enrollments
- Execute local community outreach and engagement strategies
Financial & Administrative Management
- Manage center budget, payroll, and expenses
- Monitor enrollment trends and adjust staffing accordingly
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in a childcare center (Director or Assistant Director)
- Strong knowledge of Georgia childcare licensing requirements (DECAL)
- Experience with enrollment management and lead conversion preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
