Job Summary
The Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for the facility. This role is responsible for greeting visitors, answering phones, assisting with inquiries, and supporting administrative needs while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls appropriately
Manage visitor sign-in and follow facility security procedures
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry
Communicate effectively with nursing, administration, and other departments
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies
Support a calm and organized front desk environment
Requirements / Education / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Customer service or receptionist experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and reliability
Basic computer and phone system skills
