Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, residents, and families
- Perform quality control checks and ensure adherence to cleanliness standards
- Train and mentor housekeeping team members
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Create and adjust staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage
- Address resident concerns and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and infection control practices
- Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and products
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks when necessary
