Job Description
Willow’s Kitchen is a busy small-town diner looking for an experienced Grill Cook / Short Order Cook who can run a flat-top grill during rushes and keep plates consistent, hot, and moving.
What you’ll do
- Cook on the flat-top: eggs, bacon/sausage, pancakes, burgers/sandwiches
- Work tickets fast and accurate during rush periods
- Follow recipes/portion standards and maintain consistent quality
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized (prep as needed)
- Communicate with servers/expediter to keep the line flowing
- Follow food safety and temperature standards
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a grill cook, line cook, or short order cook
- Comfortable working at a fast pace and handling multiple tickets
- Reliable and on time, we need someone we can count on
- Team-first attitude and calm under pressure
- Food safety knowledge (ServSafe a plus, not required)
