Position Overview
Willow Processing is expanding! We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Junior Loan Processor to join our team.
Work Structure: This is a hybrid role. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Irvine, CA, and be fully comfortable splitting their week between working from home and collaborating with the team in our Irvine office.
In this role, you will be the engine behind our pipeline momentum—managing critical upfront setup, tracking time-sensitive vendor orders, and ensuring seamless file submissions to our lender portals. Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Momentum & Follow-Ups: Kickstart each day by proactively driving outstanding third-party orders (including HOI, WVOE/VOE, Condo Certifications, etc.) to ensure no file stalls.
- File Intake & Portal Registration: Receive newly assigned files, evaluate them for registration readiness within the Willow Portal, and officially register eligible loans.
- Data Integrity & Auditing: Meticulously review file documentation against the initial loan application to catch and reconcile data discrepancies early.
- Escalation & Judgment: Flag file inaccuracies to Team Leads or Managers for approval. When leadership is unavailable, utilize strong independent judgment and industry knowledge to determine the best path forward.
- Portal Submission: Efficiently execute complete file uploads to lender portals, ensuring accurate submission and seamless hands-offs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain pipeline transparency by updating the designated Senior Processor within the lender portal or notifying lenders directly upon submission.
- Milestone Completion: Wrap up the intake and setup task list by executing final critical actions, including ordering HOI mortgagee updates.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Location: Must be located near Irvine, CA and able to accommodate a hybrid in-office/remote work schedule.
- Experience: Prior experience in mortgage processing assistance or junior loan processing is required. Must have hands-on broker experience to align with our wholesale workflows.
- Operational Alignment: Must be fully aligned to work standard US operational hours.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating custom CRMs, internal loan portals, and digital document management systems.

Compensation & Perks
- Base Salary: $3,000 - $4,000 per month (dependent on experience).
- Performance Bonus: Plus an additional $50 per funding to directly reward your pipeline production and efficiency.
