What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3-year-old teacher (MUST have preschool classroom experience - to start in August) position at Willow House Preschool & Early Learning Center?

We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This full-time position is ideal for an educator who loves working with 3-year-olds and is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Education Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education (ECE) program
- Has college level credits in ECE or plans to begin the ECE courseload
- Completed an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or higher
Key Responsibilities:
- Confidently leads a classroom of 10 children independently
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood standards
- Design and maintain an engaging, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Develop and manage a consistent daily classroom schedule
- Foster strong, positive relationships with parents and families through ongoing communication and engagement
- Observe, document, and support each child’s developmental progress
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of preschool development
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A caring, patient, and professional demeanor
