Finishing Assembler - Full Time Day Shift

Willow Hill Supply, LLC, is seeking a full-time entry level finishing assembler in Winchester, Kentucky.

Established in 2011, Willow Hill Supply is a small manufacturer of embroidered patches, printed goods and a reseller of quality tactical gear. We do business under the brands Tactical Gear Junkie and Kentucky Emblem. We pride ourselves in having the highest quality products and being customer forward in all aspects of our business.

We offer a substantial selection of embroidered patches and specialize in custom embroidery, made in the USA. We proudly serve industries including military, police, and fire, to name a few.

This position is responsible for the assembly and preparation of all embroidered and sewn items for finishing.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Use a heat press to apply backing of various types to products.
• Operate machinery.
• Glue, cut and assemble products to the required specifications with the use of hot glue and spray glue.
• Maintain a steady workflow of product.
• Monitor work product for any defects and alert for all quality issues that arise.
• Track and monitor KPIs on a daily and weekly basis and maintain KPI goals.
• Come to work prepared and on time every day.
• Keep work area organized and clean and sweep your area daily.
• Maintain and clean equipment and alert of any maintenance issues.
• Complete all additional assigned chores.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications

• Must be able to focus and keep an acceptable production pace.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to use scissors for extended periods of time.
• Ability to meet all required deadlines or alert when unable to complete on time.
• Ability to change priorities quickly as needed.
• Work independently and as part of a team and maintain a mature problem-solving demeanor.
• Work unsupervised and without help at times but still know when to ask for help.
• Excellent attention to detail and unwavering quality standards.
• Be able to take on new challenges, find opportunities to become more efficient, and be open to change.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close, mid-range, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to stand or sit for multiple hours at a time. Employee will need to climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Start: $14.50 per hour

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
