What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Aid position at Willow Health Care?
Part Time, Saturday & Sunday
Perform general housekeeping of nursing facility.
- Complete cleaning schedules on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
- Clean patient rooms, offices and sitting areas. Wash, dust, vacuum, sweep and /or mop all areas of the establishment.
- Maintain all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Clean and sanitize floors and furniture to infection-control policies, clean mattresses and beds according to established procedures.
- Empty and clean trash cans.
- Clean mirrors.
- Clean sinks, tubs, shower and toilets according to prescribed sanitary standards.
- Operate various types of cleaning equipment.
- Monitor inventory of supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper.
- Observe and report any maintenance issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
