Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and transfer devices
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Support medication administration under supervision in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
- Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's, memory impairments, or behavioral health needs
- Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care and wound management
- Support infection control protocols, including infectious disease care and use of PPE
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings such as hospitals (Level I/II Trauma Centers), outpatient clinics, or home & community care environments
- Support patients in post-acute care, hospice, or palliative settings as needed
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent credential required
- Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (ICU, emergency medicine), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Experience with specialized care such as Alzheimer’s/dementia/memory care or behavioral health is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within healthcare teams
- Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
