What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Sales Specialist position at Willoughby Industries, Inc.?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enter and maintain quotes in our ERP and filing systems
- Ensure quotes are accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Use product knowledge to inform independent sales representatives of pricing, lead times and any additional information needed
- Responsible for handling product inquiries, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives for customers and independent sales representatives
- Provide technical product support for independent sales representatives
- Use Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat to create and update documents
- Provide support to other departments and individuals as needed
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
- Proficient in Outlook, Adobe, Excel
- Experience working in a technical or industrial organization, providing customer service and inside sales support
- Plumbing experience/background a plus but not required
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and phone interactions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to adjust priorities and multitask as needed
- Work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess experience in customer service/inside sales
- Proficient in Microsoft office products
- ERP software experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office Environment
- Constant sitting
- Occasional walking, bending, stooping and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Will be asked to spend a minimal amount of time in the manufacturing plant
- Manufacturing plant has high level of noise
- Must submit to pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
