- Insurance Compliance: Ensure compliance with owner, lender, and contract insurance requirements. Partner with internal teams (Legal, Contracts, Operations), project managers, trade partners, and insurance agents to resolve any gaps or discrepancies.
- Documentation Tracking: Monitor certificates, endorsements, and bonds throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Insurance Renewals: Support the preparation of renewal applications, coordinate with brokers, and keep renewals on track.
- Builders Risk: Enroll new projects, structure coverage, and oversee monthly reporting.
- Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI): Handle project enrollment applications, subcontractor onboarding, and monthly tracking reports.
- AIA Documents: Review AIA contracts for accuracy and revisions before finalization (including G704s, G706s).
- Bonding: Oversee bonding requirements (payment and performance bonds, bid bonds) and coordinate with surety providers. Facilitate bond closeout and manage related reporting and updates.
What we would like you to have

- Working knowledge of construction insurance policies, including general liability, workers' compensation, and builder's risk insurance requirements.
- Experience with AIA contract software, especially formatting and finalizing owner agreements and completion forms.
- The ability to manage multiple documents and tasks at once, staying organized under deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially when handling forms, contracts, and insurance documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to ask the right questions, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and work effectively with external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction-specific software like Procore, Textura and Bridgit.
