Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer delivery appointments and ensure on-time service.
- Communicate daily shipment updates with customers, drivers, and dispatch staff.
- Prepare and distribute load information to drivers.
- Monitor freight movement, trailer locations, and delivery status using transportation management and tracking systems.
- Assist drivers with route information, delivery instructions, and problem resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of detention, accessorial charges, storage, and other load-related information.
- Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer support.
- Support dispatch operations by tracking load progress and ensuring timely communication between customers and drivers.
- Maintain organized driver, load, and dispatch records.
- Assist with payroll preparation, invoicing, fuel reporting, and other administrative duties.
- Crosstrain in office operations to provide coverage and support during employee absences.
- Contribute to a professional, organized, and team-oriented work environment.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Transportation, logistics, dispatch, customer service, or office experience preferred.
