Facilities Team Member

Overview:Willmar AG is seeking dedicated and dependable Facilities Team Members to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our congregation, staff, and guests. Team members will assist with the daily upkeep, maintenance, and preparation of church facilities, supporting both regular operations and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and custodial tasks (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom sanitation, etc.)
• Set up and break down rooms for services, meetings, and events (chairs, tables, equipment, etc.)
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed (changing light bulbs, fixing doors, etc.)
• Monitor building security and ensure all areas are locked/unlocked as scheduled
• Assist with groundskeeping tasks (snow removal, sidewalk sweeping, etc.)
• Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to ensure all facility needs are met
• Support special events with logistics, setup, and teardown

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in facilities, janitorial, or maintenance work preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physically able to lift 25 lbs and perform manual labor
• Flexible schedule including availability for weekends and evenings
• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Willmar AG

Work Environment:This role includes physical work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. A positive attitude, servant heart, and respect for the sacred nature of the church environment are essential.
