Responsibilities
- Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removal using proper rigging techniques to ensure safety and precision.
- Support arborists in operating bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access high branches safely.
- Perform ground-based tasks such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, and debris cleanup to keep work sites tidy and safe.
- Support rigging operations by securing loads and ensuring safe handling of branches and equipment.
- Maintain equipment including tools, chain saws, blowers, bucket trucks, and safety gear to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards related to tree care, landscaping, and equipment operation.
Experience
- Prior experience or growing interest in tree care, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques for safely lowering branches or heavy materials.
- Experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial lift equipment is a plus.-
- Basic understanding of lawn care, landscaping principles, and general horticultural practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
