Willis Knighton Bossier 3 North, a med/surg/telemetry floor, is looking for a motivated, organized LPN with exceptional assessment and communication skills. Prior hospital nursing experience is recommended, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. The average nurse to patient ratio is 1:5, with the assistance of a nurse aide. The patient population is a mixture of medical, surgical, and cardiac. Your job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: delegation of appropriate tasks to ancillary staff, comprehensive assessments and documentation, communicating with physicians and case manager, patient education, and accurate medication administration. All LPNs receive a comprehensive hospital and unit-specific orientation where they are provided 1:1 nursing instruction with a preceptor. A sign-on bonus is offered for a 2-year ($8,000) agreement.
