What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer position at Willis Knighton Health?
We are looking for a detailed person to join the Willis Knighton Health purchasing team. This person will act as an official buying agent for the institution and promote the most effective use of hospital funds in the acquisition of assigned products.
The person will plan for short and long-range commodity objectives and develop purchasing arrangements, which are communicated to user departments.
The person is responsible for performing clerical duties, including processing of order acknowledgments from vendors, and closing out/managing the purchase orders from start to end. This includes acting as a liaison with accounting to complete the purchase order life cycle.
