Skills required : Tele RN required, Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN), Cardiac experience – lead placement, cardiac strip analysis / interpretation, Non-titrating Cardiac gtts (Dopamine, Cardizem, Primacor, Amio, Dobutamine, Lasix, Insulin)
Support on the Unit : Charge nurse : may or may not have patient assignment, Phlebotomy – peripheral blood draws only, IV / VAT Team for PICC / Midline placement, House Supervisor, 24 / 7; PCC, RT, 24 / 7, Hospitalist available, 24 / 7, OT, PT, ST
Charting System / Equipment : EMR : Meditech Expanse, IV Pumps : Alaris, Medication dispensing : Pyxis
Floating : Possibly, to comparable units, In rotation with perm staff
Orientation : 2 Hospital and 2 on unit
Job Requirements
Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Minimum years of experience : 3 years

Schedule Information
Weekend rotation : Every other
Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory
Can we approve time off? Up to 7 days – must extend contract for any full weeks of RTO
May only request (1) weekend off per 13-week contract

Holiday Expectations : will be required to work 2 / 3 major holidays
