What You’ll Do as the Executive Director of Procurement:
◾ Lead and manage all district purchasing operations, ensuring compliance with TEA guidelines, state and federal laws, and Board policy.
◾ Oversee competitive bidding, contract negotiations, and vendor relations.
◾ Monitor and manage bond-funded construction projects for fiscal stewardship, timely completion, and alignment with district goals.
◾ Chair evaluation committees, review vendor responses, and present award recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
◾ Supervise the Purchasing Coordinator and related staff while maintaining strong public and vendor relations.
