We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with menu selections, and facilitating smooth operations within the restaurant.
*Responsibilities*
- Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Provide recommendations for food pairings and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Process cash register transactions accurately, handling payments and providing change as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- A passion for culinary arts and knowledge of food and beverage offerings is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
