Technician responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as brake problems, transmission issues, and engine malfunctions
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems to identify potential problems
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate records of all services performed on vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs
Automotive technician requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for vehicle repair and maintenance
- Proficient in using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues effectively
- Knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, engines, and transmissions
- Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
