Physical Education Teacher
WRSD is seeking a physical education teacher to provide appropriate physical education activities to students aged 3-21.
Primary Duties
- Conduct classes on a weekly basis with students aged 3-21.
- Provide physical education instruction on an appropriate development level.
- Monitor student participation, effort, and attendance and give grades on a quarterly basis.
- Promote health-related fitness activities which will meet the daily and emergency demands of each student.
- Develop the skills of movement and the knowledge of how and why one moves.
- Assist students in the development of self-confidence and a positive self image.
- Develop an appreciation of and a respect for good physical condition, a functional posture and a sense of personal well being.
- Develop a cooperative attitude toward others and a sense of good sportsmanship.
Salary : $46,095 - $88,705
