Summary
Buffalo Veterinary Group is seeking a compassionate Office Manager to lead our team of veterinarians and support staff. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our veterinary office, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional customer service delivery.
We want you to be successful! We will provide an administrative team to support you with HR, marketing, financial reporting, operations and team development. You will meet with our group of managers regularly for discussion, advice, training and support.

Requirements
- Ability to create and lead a team that is dedicated to compassionate patient care and client communication.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in record-keeping.
- Acuity with computer programs. We are all digital!
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with medical office management practices.
- License in Veterinary Technology is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct and lead the team in providing exceptional patient care, communication and customer service.
- Manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and their pets.
- Oversee scheduling and calendar management to optimize appointment flow.
- Ensure the maintenance of accurate medical records and financial transactions.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and staff - address their concerns respectfully and effectively.
- Facilitate existing office policies and procedures to improve overall operational effectiveness.
- Manage staff schedules and time off requests
- Coach, recruit, incentivize and terminate staff members as needed
- Supervise staff and provide training and mentorship as needed to enhance efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance of the hospital, its equipment and grounds through delegation to appropriate staff members.
- Collaborate with the administrative team when needed.
- Have fun! Coordinate in office team building events and celebrations.
