Job Summary
The Occupational Health Professional will play a vital role in supporting community health programs and overseeing the Occupational Health program at Williamson Health. This position requires a high level of expertise in occupational health and infection control, with experience in training and development or nursing and/or a combination thereof.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills, basic computer skills, and proper telephone etiquette. Experience with Meditech computer systems and good presentation skills are also essential. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining Occupational Health policies and protocols, preparing reports for environment of care, infection control, and other committees, and notifying employees of vaccination updates.
This position requires flexibility in applying basic nursing knowledge to various settings, with the ability to work well under pressure and function dependently and independently. We seek a dedicated professional who can maintain current knowledge of standards in occupational health and infection control, participate in ongoing education programs, and contribute to Performance Improvement initiatives.
