What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diving Coach position at Williamsburg-James City County Schools?
Responsible for training and guiding WJCC divers. Must work with divers and athletic departments from all three high schools collaboratively.

- Teach divers the proper techniques for diving, including takeoff, in-flight maneuvers, and water entry
- Conduct training sessions to improve divers' strength, flexibility, and diving skills
- Develop individualized training plans based on the abilities and goals of each diver
- Monitor divers during practices and competitions to ensure safety
- Provide feedback and constructive criticism to help divers improve their performance
- Stay updated on rules and regulations of diving and VHSL
- Communicate with divers, parents, and other coaches about trianing and competition schedules, divers' progress, and any issues that arise.
