As Maintenance Technician I, you’ll work with a team of technicians to perform a variety of tasks, including day to day maintenance and operations of the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems for our headquarters building. Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Operates, maintains, and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other related equipment to ensure its safe and efficient operation
- Responds to tenant requests in a courteous and efficient manner and report unresolved issues to Foreman/Lead
- Takes readings on equipment regularly, analyzes readings, and makes adjustments to equipment as needed
- Maintains and operates chillers, boilers cooling towers, and related equipment
- Solves problems with building fire and energy management systems
- Inspects and tests elevators, fire pumps, generators, carbon monoxide sensors, and other facility equipment
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: Two (2) year degree from Vocational/Technical/Business school or high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience; a minimum of six (6) years in the HVAC industry to include installation, repair or maintenance with a minimum of five (5) years in building operations
The ability to:
- Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
- Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
- Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
- Use hand tools
- Must be able to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as needed
- Examples of rotating shifts include the following:
- Weekends: 7pm -7am and Thurs. and Fri. 3pm - 11pm
- Weekends: 7am-7pm and Mon and Tues 3pm - 11pm
- Mon. – Fri.: 7am-3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 11pm - 7am
- May be required to work overtime
- Must have Mechanical journeyman license with the State of Oklahoma, a State Boiler Operator license, and a first class limited Engineer's license
- Must possess an EPA refrigerant certification
- Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- This role includes work performed within a facility regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Accordingly, successful completion of a background investigation conducted through the FDIC is required as a condition for obtaining an additional access badge. Additional screening measures may also apply
