As an Events Manager, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business objectives into a cohesive, end‑to‑end event narrative that brings the company’s strategy and values to life. You will design engaging session formats—including fireside chats, workshops, and panels—and lead the call‑for‑proposals process, ensuring all presentations and collateral align seamlessly with the corporate brand voice. As the architect of the attendee experience, you will develop a thoughtful run of show that maximizes engagement and impact. You will plan and execute both internal and external events that elevate brand awareness and reinforce the company’s identity, overseeing all logistics from facilities, lodging, travel, and food and beverage to entertainment and on‑site operations. In addition, you will manage event budgets, negotiate effectively with vendors, build strong relationships with preferred partners, and research, evaluate, and select venues—preparing bid comparisons and reviewing contracts for facilities, transportation, and services.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Coordinates and plans events from concept through execution
- Manages multiple events simultaneously using strong project management skills
- Collaborates across functions and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- Communicates clearly and persuasively through strong written and verbal communication
- Applies broad knowledge of Williams’ business, industry, customers, and competitors
- Supports corporate communications, brand initiatives, and executive‑level events
- Upholds brand governance while supporting internal communications and reputation management
- Evaluates event effectiveness through post‑event reporting, stakeholder feedback, and performance metrics to inform future planning and enhance impact.
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: Associate’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing and seven (7) years’ event planning and logistics, budget management and oversight, vendor management and oversight, event programming and content development experience
- Preferred: Associate’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing and ten (10) years’ event planning and logistics, budget management and oversight, vendor management and oversight, event programming and content development experience
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
