What You’ll Do
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting
- Prepare and maintain financial schedules, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders
- Support internal and external audits by providing clear documentation and explanations
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
- Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- (Level II only) Serve as a resource for less experienced team members and contribute to more complex analyses and projects
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with strong accounting focus
- Accounting Analyst I: 1 year of experience in accounting or relevant internship
- Accounting Analyst II: 2 years of accounting experience (energy industry experience preferred)
