Responsibilities
- Escort oversized or heavy loads along designated routes, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and safety standards
- Utilize GPS navigation systems and fleet tracking tools to monitor vehicle progress and coordinate route adjustments as needed
- Communicate effectively with drivers, traffic control personnel, and dispatch teams via mobile devices to relay instructions and updates
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of escort vehicles and safety equipment
- Drive escort vehicles safely in adverse weather conditions, heavy traffic, or challenging terrains while adhering to all road laws
- Maintain detailed logs of escort activities, route deviations, incidents, and compliance documentation for regulatory purposes
Skills
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and fleet GPS tracking systems for precise route management
