Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and dependable Side Dump / Belly Dump operators to join our team. This role involves operating side/belly dump trucks for hauling and delivering gravel in the Williston, ND area . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, including tractor-trailer operation, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliable service. We can also transition to other work if need be.
Responsibilities
- Operate side dump and belly dump trucks safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Manage delivery schedules and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and route information
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations during operations
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Follow route instructions precisely while optimizing delivery efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving, including tractor-trailer operation
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as Side dumps, belly dumps.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with medical.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
