Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes quickly.
- Repair or replace faulty components in appliances, HVAC/R equipment, plumbing fixtures, or electrical wiring to restore optimal functionality.
- Conduct appliance repair and service technician tasks with precision, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex maintenance or construction projects involving mechanical or electrical upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference.
- Respond promptly to emergency repairs or system failures to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, plumbing infrastructure, and electrical wiring.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in appliance repair and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Proven service technician experience with a focus on HVAC, refrigeration, or kitchen equipment maintenance.
