Description
A Journeyman Plumber is needed for Residential and Commercial jobs in the Macclenny, Florida and the surrounding area. They will oversees the completion of all aspects of plumbing projects. Performs a full range of plumbing tasks safely, including assemble, install, or repair pipes according to specifications or plumbing codes.
- Inspects, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures
- Leads troubleshooting efforts and repairs always focused on quality services
- Promotes and fosters teamwork within the plumbing project crew
- Maintain organization and ensure schedules are met
- Provides support by managing, coordinating and following job schedules: i.e., labor hours, material costs, change orders
- Support a safe and clean work environment and follow company procedures
- Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
- This position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization
- Performs other duties and special projects
Requirements
Plumber Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- 5 years of plumbing experience
- Knowledge of plumbing installation, maintenance and repair skills
- Ability to develop and implement planned maintenance programs
- Ability to operate smartphone technology, hand tools and power tools
- Apply shop mathematics to solve problems
- Able to read instructions and blueprints and follow safety procedures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and travel independently
- Must have a valid Drivers License & reliable transportation
- Legally eligible to work in the US
- Pre-employment background screening (criminal, drug screen and DMV) is required for all positions
