Position Summary:
The Banquet Server assists with the setup, service, and cleanup of banquet events while providing friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests. The server works as part of a team to ensure each event runs smoothly and guests have an enjoyable experience.
Essential Duties:
o Set up tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and dining areas before events.
o Greet guests and provide courteous, professional service.
o Serve food and beverages according to the event's service style.
o Refill beverages and assist guests with their needs.
o Clear plates, glasses, and silverware throughout the event.
o Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas.
o Follow proper food-safety and sanitation procedures.
o Help with event cleanup and resetting the room after the event.
o Work closely with the banquet captain, event coordinator, kitchen staff, and other servers.
o Handle guest requests and concerns in a polite and professional manner.
o Follow venue policies and procedures.
