Williams Mechanical is a growing mechanical contractor seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Plumber / Plumbing Foreman to help lead our plumbing operation in Murfreesboro and throughout Middle Tennessee.

We're looking for an experienced plumber who knows the trade, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is ready to help develop the next generation of plumbers.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll work in the field alongside the team while providing direction, troubleshooting difficult installations, maintaining quality standards, and helping train and mentor newer plumbers.

What You'll Do

• Lead and assist plumbing crews on commercial and industrial projects
• Train, mentor, and provide hands-on guidance to newer plumbers and apprentices
• Perform commercial plumbing installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and project plans
• Lay out plumbing systems and coordinate daily field activities
• Install and work with piping, fixtures, valves, drains, water lines, gas lines, and related plumbing systems
• Troubleshoot complex plumbing and piping issues
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, applicable plumbing codes, and quality standards
• Inspect work performed by less-experienced plumbers
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, inspectors, and other trades
• Identify material, equipment, and manpower needs
• Keep projects moving according to schedule
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Lead by example and help create a strong, professional plumbing team

What We're Looking For

• 5–10 years of professional plumbing experience
• OSHA 10 Certification- Will obtain if needed
• Strong commercial and/or industrial plumbing experience
• Commercial Experience with PVC, Copper and Cast Iron
• Previous experience as a Lead Plumber, Plumbing Foreman, Journeyman Plumber, or similar senior-level role preferred
• Experience training, mentoring, or supervising less-experienced plumbers
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Working knowledge of plumbing codes and jobsite safety requirements
• Ability to independently diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to keep crews and projects moving
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Applicable plumbing license or certifications preferred
