Remote Creative Copywriter

Schedule: Mon-Fri; 9am - 5:30pm EST Pay: $27 to $28.50/hour Benefits: Various health insurance options & wellness plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug) 401k Retirement Savings Plan Including Employer Match Paid Time Off (PTO) Life Insurance Paid Parental Leave Short-term & Long-term Disability Healthcare & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Domestic Partner Coverage Commuter Benefits Legal Assistance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Company Provided Parking JOB DUTIES: Write and edit creative copy following our voice and tone and editorial standards for a variety of assets including print and digital marketing collateral, sponsorship and display ads and signage Collaborate with cross-functional client stakeholders Provide clean, final copy documents to design team for layout Proofread copy in layout to ensure accuracy Collaborate with stakeholders to write/edit copy to work within our established content and design guidelines Key stakeholders for the above assets include the Client Development, Marketing & Communications, Talent, Pro Bono, and Alumni teams Route copy-related tasks independently while working within existing processes using our workflow management tool, Workfront KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail; B2B experience is a plus Able to follow and implement AP style and Goodwin specific style Strong time management skills; ability to adapt to changing needs and project priorities, while consistently meeting all project deadlines Effective communication skills with both designers and non-designers Proficiency in industry standard programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with Workfront or similar workflow management tool Who we are: In a rapidly changing world, the ability to innovate and break new ground drives progress.
