Maintenance Engineer
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience
Williams Hotel Group is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
- Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and building equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety standards.
- Assist with emergency maintenance situations when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
