Super 8 by Wyndham in Valdosta is looking for a dependable and motivated Maintenance Engineer to help keep our property safe, clean, and running smoothly. If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and take pride in maintaining a quality guest experience, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests.

• Repair and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment.

• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, and carpentry repairs.

• Inspect hotel systems and identify maintenance needs before they become problems.

• Maintain the exterior of the property, including parking areas and landscaping as needed.

• Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

• Assist with other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred (hotel, apartment, or commercial maintenance is a plus).

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.

• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and work independently.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors.

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

• Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
