Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Account Manager (Customer Service Representative). The Account Manager will collaborate with clients to understand their insurance and financial needs, provide tailored solutions, and cultivate long-term relationships. Responsibilities include supporting client inquiries, processing policy changes, preparing documents, coordinating renewals, and identifying opportunities for cross-sell and upsell. The role also involves partnering with team members to ensure all client expectations are met with accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Client relationship and customer service skills, including effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of processing policy changes, including endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements
- Proficiency in organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts and deadlines
- Proven sales and negotiation skills to identify opportunities and propose tailored solutions
- Experience with working with multiple insurance carriers to obtain quotes, process endorsements, and resolve policy issues
- Proficiency in office software and CRM tools; familiarity with insurance-specific software is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when needed
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field is preferred
- Previous experience in insurance, personal lines, and customer service is required
- Posses an active Tennessee Property & Casualty License or be prepared to obtain one
