Williams Institute of Orthopedics is seeking an experienced, professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy orthopedic practice. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with patients, and understands the importance of teamwork, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
This is not a position for someone who likes to sit idle. Our office is busy, our phones ring, our patients need assistance, and our team works together to get the job done every day.
What You'll Do
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and courtesy
- Answer a multi-line phone system and assist callers efficiently
- Schedule appointments and manage provider schedules
- Verify insurance and update patient demographics
- Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
- Scan and upload documents into patient charts
- Assist with referrals, authorizations, and patient communications
- Monitor voicemails and respond appropriately
- Work closely with providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Help keep the front office organized and running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Medical office experience preferred
- Orthopedic experience is a plus
- eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
- Ability to remain professional during busy periods
