Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Handle chemical agents safely following established safety protocols to ensure proper sanitation without hazards.
- Conduct light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, and assisting with minor repairs around the facility.
- Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy items or equipment to prevent injury during manual handling tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other designated spaces consistently throughout shifts.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all chemical handling safety procedures.
- Skilled in operating various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and facility maintenance requirements.
- Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling with an emphasis on safe lifting practices.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed.
- Experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
