The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents in this position. - Operates a variety of trucks and equipment including, but not limited to, loaders, skid steer, mini excavator, and self-propelled packer
- Transports materials, vehicles, and equipment to and from site
- Repairs and maintains surfaces through activities such as patching asphalt and sealing cracks in pavement
- Performs routine inspection and maintenance on trucks and equipment; reports mechanical problems requiring additional repair
- Performs manual labor activities, including snow and debris removal, snow fence maintenance, foliage maintenance, and others as assigned
- Adheres to safety rules and regulations on all work sites, reports safety hazards and traffic problems
- Acts in the interest of public safety and personal property protection during emergencies
- Maintains confidentiality of non-public records and makes available all data and information deemed a public record by the North Dakota Century Code.
Typical Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent AND one (1) year of related work experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Compensation: Starting Salary ranges from $39-$41.20/hour based on experience and training.
