Job description: The automotive mechanic needs to be experienced and able to diagnose vehicles and equipment based on observation and mechanical testing, and information provided by the operator or driver. Repair equipment or vehicles based on the diagnosed issues, and order parts from our suppliers. File appropriate documentation on all repairs for each vehicle.
Job Requirements: As an Equipment and Automotive Mechanic, you will be experienced, aware of the latest automotive technologies, and a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Mechanic:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an automotive technician
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Working knowledge of shop equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools
- Maintain essential tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Be a Positive Teammate, treating everyone with dignity and respect

Technician Responsibilities: The ability to correctly diagnose and repair a wide variety of complex automotive systems, including but not limited to EV, Diesel, and Gas Engine, Suspension, Transmission, Electrical, Onboard Computer Systems, etc., Diagnose, repair, and verify completion and quality. Striving to “Fix it right the first time”. Review vehicle history files, test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
