A day in the life of a Williams A/C & Heating Tier II Technician looks like:
At 8 am (unless scheduled otherwise), the technician will clock in at our office and retrieve their service vehicle from the office manager; any new field assignments will be assigned to each technician as they become available. After receiving assignments, the technician and their assigned helper will head over to the service call and complete it. After wrapping up the call, the technician will verbally walk the customer through the service call, and send the customer an invoice after obtaining a sign off from the customer. As new service calls are added to the dispatch board, the technician will receive calls and repeat this process until 5pm or until the last job is completed for the day. On-call shifts will rotate on a weekly basis for after hours, weekend, and holiday calls. On-call rotation runs Monday-Sunday, and the next technician will take over on call duties at 8 am the following Monday morning. If a technician is not assigned for on-call coverage, the technician can expect to be off most weekends. If technicians encounter new potential customers during work or outside of their working hours, they are encouraged to log those potential customers in our database; all Williams A/C & Heating Service Team Members are eligible for our generous commission structure in addition to their standard salary.
Key Job Duties:
Perform diagnostic inspections & repairs on a wide variety of commercial Refrigeration equipment.
