Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities
- Review journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reporting packages
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of balance sheet accounts and general ledger activity
- Lead account reconciliation processes and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner
- Partner with operational leaders to support financial reporting and business performance initiatives
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
- Assist with acquisition accounting, entity integrations, and other strategic growth initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency
- Mentor and support junior accounting team members as needed
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis requested by leadership
Accounting Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Previous experience in a multi-entity, multi-location, healthcare services, consumer services, retail, or high-growth environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience managing month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience working with NetSuite
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with stakeholders across the organization
Salary : $125,000 - $155,000
