What are the responsibilities and job description for the The CTE Department is seeking for a part-time Engineering Pathway Instructor position at William S. Hart Union High School District?

PAY RATE: $50.00 per hour (maximum 6 hours per week after school hours between 4:00-9:00)
LOCATION: TBD
THE POSITION:
Under the supervision of the Director of CTE and Adult Education, provide entry-level instruction for students entering the field of Engineering for the Extended Day Program (after school hours only).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide instruction for high school students in Engineering.
- Train students on the skills required for entry into the Engineering field
- Participate in advisory board meetings to ensure the curriculum meets industry standards
- Develop online and classroom lesson plans
- Maintain student records, grades, and attendance
-Participate in Professional Development
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three (3) years of work experience in Engineering or 1 year of work experience in the field and a valid teaching credential
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential
