Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the District’s Director of Educationally Related Intensive Counseling Services or designee, provides counseling services to assigned sites and students. Adheres to accepted ethical standards, as described by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT) and/or the American Psychological Association (APA) for the practice of Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Clinical Psychology.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) Associate number; or valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) number; or valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) Associate number; or current Psy.D. or Ph.D. student accumulating pre-doctoral hours or recent doctoral degree recipient accumulating post-doctoral hours toward licensure. Valid California driver’s license. In lieu of one of the licenses and certificates requirements noted above, the applicant must demonstrate he/she has reasonable expectation to qualify upon completion of the current semester.
