Job Summary:
William’s Handcrafted is looking to hire a master woodworker. This person would lead our woodworking and customs department and report to our shop foreman. Job duties will include building cabinets based on shop drawings, tuning and maintaining tools, milling hardwood, installing hardware, and occasionally installing casework on site. Great candidates will be able to build an entire project with little to no guidance other than shop drawings. Woodworker will operate all shop tools including a sliding table saw, line boring machine, pocket hole cutter, Blum mini press, and multiple shapers. The woodworker should be well versed in both hand and power tools and have a robust understanding of traditional woodworking techniques. This position is responsible for crafting all of our wooden parts including doors, face frames, countertops, mouldings, and other regular cabinetry components. They will also be responsible for all of our highly custom elements like range hoods, grain wrapped and grain matched face frames, wine racks, and furniture pieces.
Compensation:
Negotiable, Generally starting at $20-$35/hour

Qualifications:
Candidates must have 5 years of woodworking experience.

- Be able to safely operate all standard shop tools
- Be able to read a ruler
- Be able to lift 100lbs
- Be able to read shop drawings
- Work unsupervised
- Have reliable transportation
- Follow both written and oral directions
