What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook/Cocinero (Full-Time) position at William Oliver's Publick House?
William Oliver's Lafayette is looking for experienced cooks. We are looking for someone with open availability and the ability to work evening/night shifts.
We are currently hiring for a 30-35 hours per week position, but will consider part-time for the right candidate.
Benefits include paid time off, 401k retirement plan, and a trip to Scotland after 5 years.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet standards.
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Assist in menu planning and contribute to the creation of new dishes.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Food preparation and cooking skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Culinary experience and knife skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Menu planning or fine dining experience is a plus
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
