The Role:
- Advising on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions and disposals
- Supporting on complex commercial leasing matters across a range of asset classes
- Assisting with real estate finance transactions and structured investments
- Conducting due diligence and supporting transaction execution
- Working on development projects and portfolio management work
- Managing transactions from instruction through to completion with appropriate supervision
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm’s national platform
- Working closely with senior attorneys on client matters and ongoing mandates
The Candidate:
- Illinois admitted Real Estate Attorney with 4–8 years’ experience
- Strong background in commercial real estate transactions, particularly leasing
- Experience across acquisitions, disposals, and finance matters
- Comfortable working across a variety of asset classes and sectors
- Commercially minded with strong technical ability
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in Illinois
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build client relationships
- Highly organized with strong time-management capabilities
