As a Marine Aluminum Welder–Fitter, you’ll join a tight-knit crew of 3–4 under the direction of a lead supervisor to construct highly customized welded aluminum vessels from the keel up—fire/rescue boats, research platforms, high-speed patrol craft, and USCG-certified passenger boats trusted across the globe.
A Day in the Life
Your day starts with a plan: review blueprints and cut lists, stage CNC-routed parts produced in-house, and coordinate fit-up with your team. You’ll align hull plates, decks, fuel tanks, and structural components, then lay down precise aluminum welds that balance strength with clean aesthetics. Throughout the build, you’ll maintain a spotless, organized bay and collaborate closely to hit milestones without sacrificing quality.
What You’ll Do
This is a full-time role with a four-day workweek: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts—giving you a three-day weekend every week.

What You’ll Do
- Perform high-quality aluminum welding with an emphasis on structural integrity and appearance
- Fabricate and assemble aluminum hulls, decks, fuel tanks, and other vessel components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Achieve accurate fit-up and apply proper welding techniques
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work efficiently within a 3–4 person team under a lead supervisor
- Structured, highly organized shop focused on efficiency and top-tier craftsmanship
- All vessel design and CNC router cutting performed in-house, supported by proven geometry and standardization
- Backlog of sold projects exceeding two years—stable, consistent, year-round work
- Clean, safe, and well-organized work environment with radiant floor heat
